Aerial shot - Holidays in Sandbanks Dorset

Situated on the Sandbanks Peninsula, the two self catering Grade II listed cottages occupy a superb position in the quiet cul-de-sac of Old Coastguard Road which faces Dorset's Poole Harbour. An established family-run business for over 35 years, we provide a personal and friendly service.

Conveniently situated, being just 2 hours from London and Oxford, our location is ideal for family holidays, weekend breaks and seaside get-aways. We aim to provide excellent value for money with off season prices starting from as little as £289.

Dating back to c.1876 the cottages were some of the original properties built on the peninsula and were designed specifically for the coastguards and their families. Part of the Sandbanks conservation area, they are only a minutes' walk to the harbour beaches, a few minutes easy walk to excellent 'blue flag' sandy bathing beaches, shopping parade, promenade, children's playground and chain ferry to the Purbeck Hills and West Dorset.

Sandbanks, with its golden sands make it one of the best family holiday resorts on the south coast.  Beautiful beaches provide excellent bathing and beach activities, ideal for children.

Poole Harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world, providing a superb location for sailing, fishing, wind surfing and marine sports.  A plethora of local attractions provide something for every age and taste, from National Trust sites to castles and gardens, shops and galleries and the local attractions of Bournemouth and Poole. The area is ideal for walkers, families and those who just want to relax by the sea.

"The Sandbanks peninsula is one of the most memorable features of Poole: a narrow neck of land with water on both sides, it divides the Harbour from the open sea and has a dramatic narrow Harbour entrance at the southern end."
